I’m Annie Star!
Relish Works is an innovation hub focused on user-centered solutions in the food service industry. During my time at Relish, I worked alongside the innovation team to co-develop a survey of 2,000+ diners, analyze the subsequent findings, and strategically synthesize and present them through visual design systems.
Research tasks involved working with a team to design and implement a survey of 2,000+ diners across the United States and Canada. Through ideation, iteration, and refinement, we developed the survey to deliver a comprehensive user experience and ensure accurate, relevant data on the subject.
Post-survey, the project team began analyzing the data. Strategy decisions involved organizing, synthesizing, and interpreting findings to craft a clear narrative for our final report. During this time, we discussed and selected the final deliverable format: both a presentation deck and a mobile-first website for shareability, an approach that best matched our audience’s habits. The mobile site would become my primary responsibility moving forward.
Design ran parallel to research and strategy, beginning with moodboarding and ideation. I co-developed an initial design system based on early research to iterate efficiently moving forward. This kept the team focused on the narrative emerging from the data. Design implementation included key data visualizations and adherence to the established design system, enabling collaboration and consistency across workflows and deliverable formats.
