KNOX: GOING, GOING, GONE

Knox is an alternative pop artist based in Nashville, Tennessee. Knox’s energetic and alt-pop aesthetic works together to create an inviting atmosphere, fueled by his rise in popularity on social media.This merchandise and poster campaign aims to carry his digital presence into the physical world, by creating a series of physical products for his upcoming tour titled the Going Going Gone tour. The use of type and color correlates to the branding of this tour, and subsequent album, to create a visual tie to the artist and his identity.

By using images from both Knox’s digital photo shoot and live music
visuals, a connection is established between Knox’s digital presence
and his physical performances.



Knox’s primary audience is teenagers and young adults, ages 14-26. His audience was built mainly through social media presence and has continued to expand through his touring presence. 

T-SHIRT 
DESIGN

The Knox T-shirt design is a tour specific merch items intended for sale at live shows. The front of the T-shirt uses recurring motifs in Knox’s album rollout, such as the paper tear effect, textures, and airplanes. The paper airplane is a recurring motif seen in the promotion of the upcoming tour and album cycle, and the shirts aim to use this symbol as a cohesive visual element to create visual interest around Knox, the primary figure. 

The back of the shirt matches the promotional tour posters, showcasing the dates and location of The Going Going Gone Tour. 






POSTER DUO
The poster duo acts both advertising material and concert merchandise. The first poster is intended to advertise The Going Going Gone Tour, while the second poster acts as a show specific, collectable merch item for fans.

PAPER AIRPLANE KITThe Knox Paper Airplane kit is designed with the intention of creating an immersive and hands on experience for the consumer. These packs could be sold online or at show merch booths as a collectable item. At live performances, it became a trend to throw paper airplanes during particular songs. Selling this pack at booths provides concert goers with a way to participate during the live experience .
